2. Booking and Cancellation

Reservations for our escape room experiences must be made in advance through our website, by phone, or email. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

2.1 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to your scheduled time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 24-48 hours will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled at our discretion, subject to availability.

2.2 Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be accommodated at our discretion, based on availability.

2.3 Late Arrivals

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened game experience, as we must maintain our schedule for subsequent bookings. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without a refund.

3. Safety and Conduct

Your safety is our priority. All participants must follow our safety guidelines and instructions from our staff at all times.

3.1 Rules and Requirements

• Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Physical force is never required to solve any of our puzzles. Do not force, break, or damage any items.
• Food and drinks are not permitted in the escape rooms.
• Photography and video recording are not permitted inside the escape rooms to preserve the experience for future guests.
• Participants must sign a waiver before participating.

3.2 Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to anyone who we believe may be disruptive, pose a safety risk, or violate our rules of conduct. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

3.3 Age Restrictions

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Some rooms may have specific age recommendations due to theme or complexity. Please check the description of each room for details.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and within our escape rooms, including but not limited to puzzles, scenarios, designs, logos, and images, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. By sharing photos, reviews, or other content related to your experience at Mystery Escape NYC on social media with our hashtags or by tagging us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for promotional purposes.
